An Amazing Week

August 4th was my first day at my new job.  The Bible promises in Proverbs "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."
The Lord delights when our desires match His will for our lives.  Since Shannon and I got married, we've wanted to serve in a full-time ministry (college, church, etc.).  We've talked with several ministries about an opportunity to serve; but every time, for various reasons, it hasn't worked out.  In the meantime, we've seen the Lord use us in Merrill in some amazing ways, and we thank Him for those opportunities.
Over the past two months, we have seen the Lord open up an opportunity to serve at Regular Baptist Press.   It is an amazing position working with Godly co-workers, and we're looking forward to serving in the Schaumburg area.  We have seen Him work out the details one step at a time; we have seen Him make our path straight, and even though it's hard to wait for your wife to be able to move down with you (have to find a house that is adequate for our needs), we know that His promises are new every morning.
Great is His faithfulness!
